Something for EVERYONE

Sackville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Gift Shop - Always a Surprise!

With a constant supply of sundry items and toiletries, the SMHA Gift Shop, located in the main area of the hospital, is a reliable resource for in-patients, people requiring outpatient care, and visitors alike. With everything from snacks and cold drinks to crossword puzzles, cards, and novels, its convenience is appreciated by all. Discounted items are often offered and there is even a clearance table! Of course, for the shopper, the jewel of the Gift Shop is the treasure trove of ever-changing items, thanks to its dedicated volunteers. Items range from those that are one-of-a-kind to clothing, jewelry, decorations, and more! Come in and find a special gift for someone, and while you are there, why not a little something for yourself?

Something Just For You...........

Working for the Good of All

Thanks to the devotion of volunteer workers, auxiliary members, and the SMHA Gift Shop Committee members themselves (Joan Richardson, Gift Shop Manager; Linda Trenholm, Gift Shop Treasurer, and Judie Brownell, Gift Shop Committee member), the gift shop, located within the foyer of the Sackville Memorial Hospital, continues to produce a worthwhile shopping experience for its patrons. Its committee members regularly attend retail fairs that enable them to return with ideas galore. The SMHA Gift Shop has something for everyone including sundry items such as toiletries, drinks and snacks, and books which are not only intended for inpatients, but also for people awaiting outpatient services, employees, visitors and shoppers who realize the jewel it is. There are beautiful pieces available, perfect for gift-giving such as items for the home, entertaining, clothing accessories, jewelry, and more. If you have not yet visited the SMHA Gift Shop, please drop in and have a look around.

Traditionally, the proceeds from the SMHA Gift Shop are gifted to the Sackville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. As always, support of the SMHA Gift Shop from its patrons is greatly appreciated; in turn, it provides for the auxiliary's financial support of a vast area of needs within our community's hospital and its health care including medical equipment, professional development, and educational scholarships, to name just a few.
